La base:
- Lo strumento di programmazione "CODESYS Development System", che implementa lo standard internazionale IEC 61131-3.
- Il software di controllo ("PLC runtime system" o "SoftPLC" o "PLC virtuale") per diverse piattaforme di dispositivi.
Con CODESYS, potete scegliere liberamente l'hardware ottimale per la vostra applicazione di automazione. Molti fornitori di automazione hanno già implementato CODESYS. Oppure potete utilizzare piattaforme di dispositivi standard su cui è sufficiente installare o distribuire il software di controllo appropriato. Con i controllori virtuali, potete persino utilizzare un potente hardware IT per il controllo, riducendo così la quantità di hardware necessaria.

Flessibilità e indipendenza con il WebVisu di CODESYS
Con CODESYS, Lissmac ha potuto ottenere la massima indipendenza dai produttori di dispositivi. Lo sviluppo di una nuova interfaccia utente basata su Lissmac CI è stato molto semplice. Con WebVisu, i dati diagnostici possono essere recuperati a livello globale e in tempo reale tramite accesso remoto.
